Hold on to your tickets - Squash’s fans asked to look out for new concert date
Persons who have already purchased tickets for Squash's 6ix is Real concert are being advised that tickets are still valid, despite the indefinite postponement of the event which was scheduled for today.
The concert, which would have unfolded at Sabina Park in Kingston, was postponed earlier this week, but Squash's manager, Junior 'Heavy D' Fraser, did not wish to disclose the reason.
"It has been postponed. I'm not able to say why as yet, but ticket holders should have received a notification that their tickets are still valid until we confirm a date for the concert. I have no idea when that will be, but hold on to your tickets" he told THE WEEKEND STAR.
Fraser is assuring fans that the promoters are working assiduously to seek a new venue and concert date for 6ix is Real.
The news of the postponement came one day after Fraser told THE WEEKEND STAR that tickets were in high demand. He also said that Squash was excited to bond with his fans after an absence from the local stage due to a near six-month lock-up. He was arrested during the state of emergency in Montego Bay, St James, last year, and was only released from jail on January 30.
In the meantime, Squash is expected to perform at Up To The Line: Champs After Party tomorrow at Skateland in Half-Way Tree, St Andrew.
"We really wanted to merge the two shows and have the 6ix concert then the after champs performance, but just know that Squash is gearing up for that show and is looking forward to performing for his fans," Fraser said.
