44 new cases, one more COVID death
Jamaica on Saturday recorded one more COVID-19 deaths, increasing the death tally to 238.
The deceased is a 63-year-old male from St. Elizabeth.
Meanwhile, there were 44 new cases with ages ranging from 3 to 76 years, increasing the total to 10,284 with 4,398 being active.
Of the new cases, 25 are males and 19 are females.
In the meantime, there were 24 more recoveries, increasing the total to 5,505.
Some 80 persons are in hospital with 19 being moderately ill and 11 critically ill.
Five persons are in government quarantine, and 21,352 are at home.
